Ideas for Teachers

FEATURED CROW CURRICULUM

The NC Civic Education Consortium has developed a standards-aligned curriculum for integrating CROW into the 8th grade Social Studies and/or Language Arts classroom. The chapter-by-chapter questions and numerous activity options allow students to creatively explore the fictional life of characters as they relate to real world historical events through group work, drama, art, creative writing, deliberation, examination of primary source documents and more. The activities can be adapted to different grade levels.
